Organic soybeans in the limelight

Organic soybean production and the development of the product path of organic soybeans in Hungary were the major topics of our professional day held within the DiverIMPACTS project.

Like the other professional days, the objective of the Hungarian Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (ÖMKI) was to bring the actors of the sector – including farmers, processors and business federations – together to discuss the potential development directions of the product path of soybeans. All the speakers agreed that cooperation and integration are basic preconditions for further development, safe marketing and the completion of the value chain from breeding, through processing, to successful sale.
